Getting to know wetland wildlife!
In 2015, WWF launched a two-year project called Discovering Biodiversity in Hong Kong Wetlands. With the help of 450 citizen scientists that we recruited as well as a number of wildlife experts, the project team conducted over 15 different ecological studies, helping to update the species database for the entire Mai Po area.
And now it’s time to share the results of this project with the world! On 11 and 12 February, WWF will hold the Symposium on Deep Bay Wetland Conservation at the Hong Kong Science Museum. We have also invited wetland conservationists and environmental educators from Hong Kong and overseas to host presentations and discussions. Registration at the symposium will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis, so if you want to be there, please register before the deadline on 31 January!
